HOW TO PLANT
Step 1: Incubate the seeds
Soak the water spinach seeds in warm water at about 30 - 40°C for 3 - 6 hours, then remove the seeds, rinse with clean water and incubate in a damp towel at 25 - 30°C for 6 - 10 hours.
Step 2: Prepare the soil.
A very easy-to-grow vegetable and is not picky about soil. As long as there is enough water and light, the plant can grow and develop healthily. The most suitable soil for growing water spinach is muddy soil, loam soil or slightly flooded soil.
Step 3: Sowing the seeds
- Take soft, loose, clean, nutritious soil and pour it into a foam box. Water and mix well to increase the soil moisture, then level it and make rows about 0.5cm deep.
- Sow vegetable seeds on the rows that have been made, then cover them with a thin layer of clean soil, and at the same time spray a little water on the ground to moisten the soil. In the first week, increase watering twice a day, morning and evening, and cover with dry straw and grass. When you see the plants sprout, move them to a place with light for better growth.
